O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.423 of 2020 and file the final report before the competent court within the time limit as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the First Information Report has been registered on 18.05.2020, so far no investigation has been undertaken and the accused persons have not been secured. Even after the occurrence, the accused are threatening the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that totally there are 4 cases in respect of the parties. In Crime No.426 of 2020, final report has been presented before the concerned court and it has not been taken on file. In respect of Crime NO.423 of 2020, which is the subject matter in this petition, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks 3 months time to complete the investigation.

4. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, 3 months time is granted to complete the investigation and to file a final report before the concerned court. After filing final report, compliance report shall be sent to the Registry.
