ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused (Rank Not Known), apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 457 & 380 of I.P.C, in Crime.Nos.1083, 1104 & 1127 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. All the anticipatory bail petitions are filed by the petitioner for the third time. Earlier applications filed by him have been dismissed by this Court, on the ground that his 1/3

involvement is also came to light during the course of investigation. Since these petitions are third anticipatory bail applications, the Investigating Officer was directed to appear before this Court. He was also present and produced CD file and submitted that the petitioner has appeared before the respondent police and handed over the jewels, which was involved in the above said occurrence.

3.It is seen that the petitioner is running a Pawn Broker Shop in Ariyalur. As per the investigation, the first and third accused pledged the stolen articles in the petitioner's shop. No bad antecedent is reported against the petitioner and his involvement is limited extend of receiving the stolen jewels and voluntarily, produced the same before the respondent police. In all the petitions, the custody of the petitioner may not require.

4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are allowed and petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Thanjavur, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
