Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining the impugned selection list dated 11.12.2012 relating to the petitioner and

quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to select the petitioner for Post Graduate Assistant in the subject of English arising out of the Notification / Advertisement No.03 dated 28.02.2012 issued by the third respondent and direct the first respondent to appoint the petitioner in the above Post. For Appellants : Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan Special Government Pleader For R1 :Mr.Mr.D.Shanmugaraja Sethupathy

JUDGMENT

(Judgment of this Court was delivered by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.D.Shanmugaraja Sethupathy, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that pursuant to the directions granted by the writ Court, M.A. degree in English and Communicative Studies, offered by Gandhigram Rural Institute Deemed University has been made equivalent as M.A. degree in English and orders have been issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.72, Higher Education (K2) Department, dated 30.04.2013 and thereafter, vide order in Na.Ka.No.97608/lgps;a[3 /,1/2013, dated 02.12.2013, the first respondent has been appointed as Post Graduate Assistant. 2.Added further, Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that in other identical matters, orders of appointment has been issued to the eligible candidates. 3.Copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.97608/lgps;a[3 /,1/2013, dated 02.12.2013, issued by the Joint Director (Higher Secondary), School Education Department, Chennai, produced before this Court, is treated as part of record.

4.In view of the above submission, nothing survives in this writ appeal for further adjudication. Hence, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
