ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No. 388 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, before the concerned court. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by him, the respondent police had registered an FIR in Crime No.388 of 2021, for the offences under Sections294(b), 324, 506(2) and 323 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. But, till now, final report has not been filed in this regard. Hence, he filed this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police had registered an FIR, but the investigation is in progress. Hence, he sought three months time for filing final report.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10660 of 2022 4.Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.388 of 2021 and file final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
