O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to issue the Non Traceable Certificate to the petitioner based on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.09.2022 and the subsequent representation dated 03.02.2023 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 17.09.2022 for misplacing of his original sale deed document bearing No.1021 of 2005 on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Sankarankovil, Tirunelveli District. He would further submit that the petitioner has also made a paper publication on 23.12.2020 with regard to the missing of original document.
4. Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose, following the circular issued by the Director General of 2/4
Police and complete the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, the petitioner can workout her remedy through appropriate proceedings, if not satisfied.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
