O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.307 of 2022 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Madurai District, Madurai, or the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Crime Investigation Department, Madurai District, Madurai, or any other competent authority.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that in pursuance of the order that is passed by this Court on 19.09.2023, now investigation has been taken by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur.

3. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur, is present before this Court and stated that three CCTV cameras placed near the occurrence place are not indicating the involvement of the vehicle, since they have low pixel value. Vehicle number and other things could not be identified from the above said CCTV cameras' footages. So far, no clue is available. Further, he is undertaking that the investigation is going in a proper manner and it will be completed within a period of three months. 2/4

4. In view of the above said undertaking given by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur, let the above said investigation be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
