Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the crop insurance compensation amount to the Alaikadu and Kudikadu agriculturists who paid Crop Insurance Premium under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in Vettanoor-I Revenue Village as to that of Pangayathankudi Village of the same Revenue Village Vettanoor-I within a stipulated time by considering the petitioner representation dated 21.01.2019.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to pay the crop Insurance compensation. If at all any deficiencies in service has been committed by the Insurance Company in settling the compensation, the petitioner have to approach the competent District Level Committee/forum constituted under the Insurance Act or before the 2/5

competent Court of Law. The writ court cannot adjudicate such disputed facts. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent District Level Committee/forum.

2. With the above liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
