PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.73 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against this petitioner in Crime No.73 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 307, 324, 326, 341 and 506(ii) and 1/3

remanded him into judicial custody on 12.04.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 12.04.2024 at 05.15. p.m., due to previous enmity with regard to a criminal case which is pending before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Boothapandy, the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant with aruval and caused injuries and also criminally intimidated him. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, he has been arrested and he is languishing in jail from 12.04.2024. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is having two previous cases .

5. This Court by earlier order dated 24.05.2024, has granted interim bail to the petitioner for a period of four weeks. However, the petitioner has not surrendered before the prison so far, despite the interim bail period is over.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the conduct of the petitioner in not surrendering before the prison even after the expiry of the interim order, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. 2/3
