O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli, to dispose of the above C.C.No.66 of 2020 on his file as expeditiously as possible and within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner, who is the 8th accused in Crime No.142 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, is facing charges under Sections 420, 468, 469, 471, 120(b) of IPC and Sections 66(C), 66(D) of Information Technology Act, in C.C.No.66 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was taken cognizance in the year 2020, there is no progress in the trial process. Hence, this petition has been filed seeking speedy disposal.

3.Considering the oldness of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy, to expedite the trial process in C.C.No. 66 of 2020, pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands allowed.
