[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. Prayer in this writ petition reads as follows: "For the reasons stated in accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal Programme to be held on 29.04.2023 between 07.00.P.M. to 12.00.A.M. In Arulmigu Sri Samayapurathu Muthumariamman Thirukkovil,

Kattunayakan Street, South Santhaipettai, Pudukottai Town, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2023 and pass such other and further orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice."

4. There will be a direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.04.2023 and grant permission for Adal Padal Programme between 07.00 p.m. and 09.00 p.m., subject to the other usual conditions.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
