O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli, to dispose of the above C.C.No.1011 of 2023 on his file as expeditiously as possible and within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner, who is the sole accused in Crime No.43 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, is facing charges under Sections 465, 468, 469, 471, 420 of IPC, in C.C.No.1011 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2016, it was taken cognizance only in the year 2023. But, thereafter, there is no progress in the trial process. Hence, this petition has been filed seeking speedy disposal.

3.Considering the oldness of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirappalli, to expedite the trial process in C.C.No.1011 of 2023, pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands allowed.
