ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to complete the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2697/2020/A1 dated 16.06.2020, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has made a request for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property and the same was entertained by the third respondent and a report was sought for from the fourth respondent. Thereafter, there was no progress in the enquiry and left with no other option, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.V.Paneer Selvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to proceed further with the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.2697/2020/A1 dated 16.06.2020 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
