... Respondent Writ Appeal is preferred under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent against the order dated 31.08.2016 made in W.P.(MD)No.18938 of 2018. Prayer in WP(MD)No.18938/2018:

To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 18.08.2018 and the same was sent on 20.08.2018 and consequently, direct the respondent to issue the interview call letter to the petitioner.

JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The writ appeal is directed against the order of the learned Single Judge in the writ petition, in which he has dismissed the same inter alia holding that the appellant has not produced the certificate for passing 8th standard though he has completed 10th standard.

2.Heard Mr.C.Venkatesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and Mr.N.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that 8th standard pass certificate has been produced subsequently. The learned Additional Government Pleader in turn would submit that the process of giving call letters has started.

4.Considering the above, we direct the respondent to accept the 8th standard pass certificate produced by the appellant and based upon the same issue call letter to him, if he is otherwise eligible. 5.Accordingly, this Writ Appeal stands allowed to the extent indicated above. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
