O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 3 and 4 not to harass the petitioner and his family members on the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a dispute pending between the petitioner and the fifth respondent in respect of the sale of immovable property and thereby, the fifth respondent lodged a false complaint against the petitioner. Taking advantage of the same, now, the respondents 3 and 4 frequently called the petitioner by interfering with the civil dispute. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 17.04.2024, but no action was taken. Therefore, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the fifth respondent lodged the complaint against the petitioner on 15.04.2025 in respect of money transaction through sale agreement and thereby, they called the petitioner for enquiry and they have nor harassed the petitioner. Further, the said complaint is under enquiry and they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass orders.

5. According to the petitioner, the respondents 3 and 4 harassed the petitioner on the guise of enquiry. But the respondents 3 and 4 denied the alleged harassment. However, the fifth respondent lodged the complaint before the third respondent and the same is under enquiry. Therefore, recording the abovesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that they have not harassed the petitioner and only based on the complaint lodged by the fifth respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry, this Court directs the third respondent to conduct enquiry on the Page No. 3 of 5

complaint lodged by the fifth respondent and dispose of the same within a period of one week from the date of this order, after affording opportunity to both the parties.

6. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
