This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report in Cr.No.279 of 2022 pending on the file of Thirumayam Police Station,Pudukkottai District.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 279 of 2022 and the investigation is completed. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and the respondent police also completed the investigation and seeks one month time to file final report, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of this order.

4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
