Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the respondents to pay 18 percent interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits of P.F, Gratuity, Unavailed Leave Salary and Commutation, payable to the petitioner from the date of his retirement i.e., 31.03.2018 to till the date of actual payment made to him and all other attendant benefits within the stipulated period.

This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order, dated 10.12.2019, made in W.P.(MD) No.26210 of 2019.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the order and directions issued by this Court have been complied with. This fact is also acknowledged by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
