This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to include the name of the petitioner for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police based on the representation dated 20.12.2018.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that as per order dated 08.01.2019 passed in C.No.A1/79180/2018 by the third respondent, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order dated 08.01.2019 if he is so advised. No costs.
