O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime NO.930 of 2020 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as Manager in Maruti Work Shop and a Maruti Swift Car bearing Registration No. TN-67-BJ-0403 owned by one Muthu Murugan, is taken for the purpose of carrying out the repair. The Car has been sent to adjacent stockyard owned by the said Maruti Company and thereafter, it was taken to the Workshop. On the next day, it was found missing in respect of which complaint was given to the respondent. For the past 8 months, there is no progress. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that so far 10 witnesses have been examined and because of non-availability of CCTV camera during the relevant time, the respondent is not in a position to trace the accused person. A request has been made to the Insurance Company regarding the particulars. Pointing out the said position, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks 2 months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

4. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, 2 months time is granted to complete the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9782 of 2021 investigation and to file a final report before the concerned court. After filing final report, compliance report shall be sent to the Registry.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.
