ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A1 to A5, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 9 and 10 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006, in Crime No.8 of 2021, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners 2 to 5 herein solemnized the marriage between the minor girl, namely, Vasuki with A1 and therefore, this case came to be registered based on the complaint given by the Child Help Line Officer. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocents and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.9786 of 2021 respondent strongly opposed this petition on the ground that at the time of marriage, the victim girl is aged about 13 years and the petitioner is aged about 28 years and the statement of victim girl was also recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that it is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail, hence, this petition is dismissed. sd/- 23/07/2021 / TRUE COPY / / /2021 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
