ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application for transfer of patta in respect of S.No.156/1 to an extent of 33 cents and S.No.154/1A to an extent of 28 1/2 cents, the land in S.No.92/6A to an extent of 1 Cents situated at Kummapatti village, Aathoor Taluk, Dindigul District. The said representation has been given by the petitioner pursuant to the purchase of the said lands for valid consideration under a registered sale deed.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner has only made an application in writing on 03.02.2025 and has not made an online application, which is mandatory.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make an online application and pay the requisite charges, if not already paid, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such online application being made, 2/4

the respondent shall dispose of the petitioner's application, within a period of twelve weeks, thereafter, on merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
