Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2020 and pass appropriate orders to transfer the certificate of ownership to the petitioner's name based on the Will dated 25.10.2008 executed by the original owner M.Kannaraja, Secretary of Arulmighu Bhagavathi Amman Trust with respect to the elephant Rohini within a time stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. All that the petitioner wants is disposal of the petition mentioned representation.

The Additional Government Pleader on instructions states that the first respondent will dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, I direct the first respondent to pass orders on the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within the aforesaid period. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the first respondent to take a call in the matter. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
