The petitioner's father, who was working as Noon Meal Organiser died on 16.03.2019, while in service. The petitioner herein being his son, has sought for compassionate appointment. His application came to be forwarded by the second respondent to the first respondent through proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1307/2019/A5, dated 18.10.2019. The application is now under consideration of the second respondent herein in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.49066/2019/Sa.U.Thi-1, dated 21.11.2019. Since the application is under consideration for the past more than two years, this Court is of the view that the second respondent could be directed to pass final orders, within a stipulated time.

2. In the light of the above observation and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.12027 of 2022 respondent to pass appropriate order in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.49066/2019/Sa.U.Thi-1, dated 21.11.2019 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With this direction, this Writ Petition is ordered. No costs.
