Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse Crop insurance amount under (PMFBY) Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana - Crop Insurance - 2018-2019 pertains to petitioner's Crop Insurance Policy No.0402331800100440594 in the light of the second respondent proceedings in Na.Ka.No.001347/20-21/AR.1 dated 23.03.2021 with in a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse Crop insurance amount under (PMFBY) Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana - Crop Insurance - 2018-2019 pertains to petitioner's Crop Insurance Policy No.0402331800100440594 in the light of the second respondent proceedings in Na.Ka.No.001347/20-21/AR.1 dated 23.03.2021. 2/5

2. The petitioner is having Crop Insurance Policy in the third respondent Co-operative Credit Society and hence the petitioner is entitled to Crop Insurance Policy. However, the third respondent while uploading the particulars of the petitioner, has wrongly entered the petitioner's Village as 'Melamudukulathur Revenue Village' instead of 'Enathi Revenue Village'. Therefore, the petitioner's claim was not considered by the respondents. As on date, the computer mistake has been rectified and the petitioner's Crop Insurance Policy along with the correct village is entered. When the mistake is rectified, the respondents are ought to consider the petitioner's claim as per law without insisting the mistake committed by the third respondent.

3. Therefore, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's claim and grant appropriate relief to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of the receipt a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
