PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to transfer the investigation in petitioner's complaint dated 05.04.2023 pending before the third respondent and entrust the same to respondent No.2 or any other competent authority to expeditiously complete the investigation in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for transfer of investigation from respondent No.3 to respondent No.2 in C.S.R.No. 39 of 2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the Police have completed the investigation and closed the F.I.R. as "Mistake of Fact" on 07.07.2023.

3. Since the investigation itself is not pending anymore, this Criminal Original Petition filed seeking the transfer of investigation from one Police Officer to another Police Officer becomes infructuous. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report, in case, if she is advised as such.
