When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction from the respondent police submits that initially on the apprehension, even protection was granted to the wife, subsequently, in other proceedings, the parties have resolved their dispute and the apprehension no longer survives.

2. In view thereof, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
