PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents particularly the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a time frame as specified by this Court.

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted seeking a direction to the respondents, particularly, second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a time frame as specified by this Court.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions,
submitted that though quarrying licence was granted in favour of the fourth respondent in respect of the subject premises, the licence period has subsequently been expired and at present, it is not possible for the authorities concerned to grant licence to any parties, since residential houses situate within the prohibited limit.
3. Recording the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
