O R D E R

This petition is filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report within the stipulated period concerned in Crime No.76 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he is the defacto complainant in Crime No.76 of 2018, which was registered for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 342, 448, 379 and 498 of IPC against the accused persons. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent has not filed the final report in Crime No.76 of 2018 so far. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submit that based upon the complaint given by the defacto complainant, a case in Crime No.76 of 2018 has been registered and after completion of investigation it was closed as 'mistake of fact' on 11.07.2018 and the closure report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vallioor.

4.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) is recorded. After receiving the closure report, the petitioner may work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if he is aggrieved by the closure report.
