Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant separate joint patta to the petitioners property in Old Survey No.1349, New Survey No.2106/18 admeasuring 6 3⁄4 cents situated at West Street, Vadivammanpatti, Kottai Karunkulam Village, Tirunelveli District based on the Registered Thana Settlement Deed No.771/2000 dated 17.07.2000 within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioners seek a joint patta by including the names of the petitioners in respect of the petition mentioned property. Notice was ordered.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that in the Adangal and village accounts, the names of two other persons are reflected.

4. I therefore direct the second respondent to issue notice to the persons, whose names are shown in the revenue records and other interested persons, if any and thereafter, pass final order on the petitioners' application. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
