This petition has been filed for a direction to to the Principal District Judge, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil to dispose of the IDOP.No.428 of 2018 within a stipulated time.

2.The petitioner and the respondent are husband and wife. After the marriage they were living in the matrimonial home. However all of a sudden, the respondent left the matrimonial home. Subsequently she filed a petition in IDOP.No.428 of 2018 2020 before Principal District Court Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil for dissoultion of the marriage. She has also lodged a complaint against the petitioner before the All Women Police Station, Kuzithurai. Though the matter is posted for appearance, she is dragging on the proceedings. She only initiated the IDOP proceedings for dissoultion of the marriage, but she is not cooperating for disposal of the same.

3.The learned Counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent is not at dragging on the proceedings and even she is also ready early for disposal of the IDOP. 4.The IDOP proceedings is pending from the year 2018, before the Principal District Court, Kanykumari @ Nagercoil. The petitioner alleges that the respondent having filed the petition is not prosecuting the case. 2/4

The respondent claims she is ready for disposal of the same.

5.Under such circumstances, the civil revision petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil to dispose IDOP No.428 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible and within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
