PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned Detention Order passed by the respondent No.2 made in his proceedings in C.O.C.No.12/2022, dated 03.05.2022 in detaining the detenu under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 as a "Bootlegger" and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu namely, Sathishkumar, son of Amirthalingam, Male, aged about 36 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Thiruchirappalli, before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.4291, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 11.07.2022 submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
