[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This writ petition has been instituted seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to provide 108 Ambulance van facility to A.Mukkulam Primary Health Centre, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 22.10.2018 and 18.12.2018 within time stipulated by this Court.

2. In the absence of any specific untoward incident denying access to 108 Ambulance service, the prayer, as such sought for in this writ petition, cannot be granted.

3. At this juncture, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that 108 Ambulance service is being provided across the State and the ambulance service, in the event of any emergency situation, will be in a position to attend the call without causing any undue delay.

4. In view of the above, we are of the opinion that the petitioner has not established any specific reason to grant the relief or incidents to issue such direction and therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. [S.M.S., J.] [A.D.M.C., J.] 24.06.2025 NCC :
