ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2021. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 26.07.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry in CSR No.28 of 2021 was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, it was found that there is a family dispute and on that basis, it was closed on 30.07.2021.

3.Today(24.08.2021), copy of the closure report is circulated to this Court.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9944 of 2021 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the enquiry was closed, nothing survives for further adjudication or direction in this petition. The parties are at liberty to resolve the dispute through appropriate civil proceedings. Question of granting police protection may not arise. 5.With the above liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
