The Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant long leave or one month ordinary leave to the petitioner viz., Jith @ Indirajith, aged about 50 years, convict prisoner C.P.No.21390, detained at Central Prison, Trichy, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 31.07.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents
3. From the report submitted through the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, it appears that the petitioner was involved in 17 cases. Furthermore, even on the earlier occasion, when parole was granted, he was involved in an offence. Pursuant to which, a case has been registered against him. The report also shows that there is a liklihood of law and order problem, if he is released on parole. Thus, we do not find any merit in this petition. Accordingly, the Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
