ORDER

This contempt petition is filed for the alleged willful disobedience of the order dated 26.07.2024 passed in WP(MD)No.17180 of 2024, whereby the first respondent/contemnor was directed to consider the representation for taking necessary action to execute the award dated 04.10.2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the respondent has placed on record whereby the Thasildar, Karambakudi, Pudukkottai District was authorised to effect recovery of the amount due under the said award. He further submitted that the recovery proceedings will be completed within eight weeks from today.

3.In light of the above, the Contempt Petition is closed subject to condition that the first respondent shall complete the recovery proceedings within a period of eight weeks from today. In the 2/4

event, recovery proceedings is not completed, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the contempt petition.
