Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 21.12.2018 made by the petitioner herein to conduct nationwide public hearing for implementing the Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Tariff Order 2017 for collection of monthly subscription fees separately for the television channels aired in public and pass orders within stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Court.

(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 21.12.2018, to conduct nationwide public hearing for implementing the Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable)

Services Tariff Order 2017, for collection of monthly subscription fees separately for the television channels aired in public.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Writ Petition may be closed granting liberty to the petitioner approach the authority concerned with all factual details as well as the documents, to redress his grievance.
