2. The petitioner was convicted and sentenced vide order dated 28.12.2022. The case of the prosecution is that it is a case of murder for gain. The appeal itself was filed belatedly. The case against the petitioner rests only on circumstantial evidence. However taking into account the overall facts and circumstances, we are of the view that the main appeal itself can be taken up for final hearing.
