Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners/A5 to A8 apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 494, 506(i) read with 109 of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.2 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the first accused in this case viz., Ramkumar married the defacto complainant and demanded dowry. Thereafter, he married one Kaliswari, who is the daughter of first and second petitioners/A5 and 6 and hence the present complaint has been registered.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the first and second petitioners are the parents of the alleged second wife Kaliswari and the sister of the fourth petitioner. He would further submit that the daughter of the first and second petitioners got already married to one Kulanthaivel in the year 2012 itself and thereafter, she eloped with the first accused and the present petitioners have nothing to do with the alleged second marriage of the first accused.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is pending.

5.Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Maistrate No.1, Ramanathapuram and on each of them executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.

6.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
