O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The Petitioner has come forward with this Habeas Corpus Petition seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the Petitioner's daughter Manjula, aged about 17 years (Minor), before this Court and hand over the custody to the Petitioner.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the detenue was produced by the second respondent through videoconferencing from the Public Prosecutor's Office. It is represented by the learned Standing Counsel for the State that the detenu had https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.1024 of 2021 eloped with the third respondent and after securing the detenue, a case has been registered against the third respondent. On enquiry, the detenue would state that she is willing to go with her mother/the Petitioner herein.
4.In the light of the above statement made by the detenue, this Court is of the view that no further adjudication is required in this Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly, the same stands closed.
