[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the official respondents to prevent the Periya Kanmai,

Ilamanur Taluk, Madurai District free from fishing and other allied activities and to save the water body for the welfare of villagers. 2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submitted that the encroachment in question will be removed within a period of four weeks.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the official respondents to remove the encroachment in question within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
