Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 562/2025/E1 dated 17.04.2025 quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondents to allow all the legal heirs of the late Venkataramanpoosari who are the petitioners here in to participate and get prashad in the upcoming Vandiyur Mandagapadi Pooja which going to be held on 13.05.2025.

O R D E R
The present writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No. 562/2025/E1 dated 17.04.2025 and consequently, to direct the respondents to allow all the legal heirs of the late Venkataramanpoosari, who are the petitioners herein, to participate and get prashad in the upcoming Vandiyur Mandagapadi Pooja, which is going to be held on 13.05.2025.
2. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the parties. By consent of both parties and also considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that the petitioners have already filed O.A. No.17 of 2024 under Section 63-E of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) Act, seeking a statutory right to conduct the festival on a rotational basis and that the said application is presently pending before the HR & CE Department. The learned counsel further submitted that, for the current year, the festival is to be conducted by another party.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are confining their prayer only to the limited relief of being permitted to participate in the festival and receive prashad from the temple, during the upcoming 'Vandiyur Mandagapadi Pooja' scheduled to be held on 13.05.2025.

Considering the limited prayer now sought by the petitioners, this Court finds that the petitioners shall be permitted to participate in the upcoming 'Vandiyur Mandagapadi Pooja' scheduled to be held on 13.05.2025 and to receive prashad from the temple. The respondents are directed to ensure that the festival is conducted in a 3/5
peaceful and orderly manner.
6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
