Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of death certificate for his father. The petitioner had submitted an application before the first respondent. Since it has not been disposed of , he has moved this Court for relief.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel on either side that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Vedasanthur, is the competent authority in this regard. W.P.(MD)No.12312 of 2020 second respondent will hold an enquiry and dispose it of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
