The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd Respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2023 and to impose suitable direction/condition to the 3rd Respondent to avoid hindrance to the people in the name of Ammayee Amman Temple festival scheduled to be conducted on 05.05.2023.
2. Mr. B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that because of the above said issue between the two groups of people, a Peace Committee Meeting is going to be conducted today. Because of pendency of this matter, it could not be held today.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Peace Committee Meeting will be conducted on 03.05.2023 in the presence of Tahsildar, Thottiyam. In the above said 2/4
meeting, the petitioner and as well as the private respondent must be participated. Depending upon the outcome of the resolution will be adopted in the above said the meeting, further action may be taken either by the petitioner or by the competent authority.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
