Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned transfer order in TNSTC/Virudhu/Admin/A2/879/2019 dated 24.01.2019 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the 2nd respondent to retain the petitioner in service at Rajapalayam - I Branch till his retirement.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents Corporation submits that the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition in the year 2019 challenging the impugned transfer order. In the meantime, the writ petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and allowed to retired from service. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
