Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant plan approval for construction of the petitioner's house in respect of her property comprised in old S.No.390/1A2A, new survey No.390/11 situated at Ayyan Pappakudi Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, by considering her representation dated 17.02.2022.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Standing counsel appearing for respondents 4 and 5.

2. The petitioner seeks planning approval for the purpose of construction.

3. The learned Standing counsel drawing to my attention of the relevant rules submitted that unless the online application is submitted and the other formalities are fulfilled, it is not possible to consider the petitioner's request. The petitioner's counsel fairly states that the petitioner has only sent a representation and not any online application. Therefore, it is not possible to grant any relief in the writ petition.

4. This writ petition stands dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to submit a proper online application and after the application is submitted, it will be definitely considered by the authorities. No costs.
