O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the respondents no.3 and 4.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the 4th respondent is the mother of the petitioner and there is a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents no.3 and 4 and thereby, the respondents no.3 and 4 caused life threat to the petitioner. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 16.04.2025 for police protection to the 2nd respondent, but no action was taken. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner lodged a compliant for missing of the 4th respondent, who is his mother and based on the same, F.I.R in Crime No.74 of 2025 has been registered for women missing. Again the petitioner sent a representation that the 4th respondent eloped with some other person and thereby, they caused life threat to the petitioner. However, the representation of the petitioner is under enquiry. They will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with Page No. 2 of 4

law.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the 3rd and 4th respondents inclined to pass orders in this petition.

5. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation to the 2nd respondent for police protection as against the respondents no.3 and 4. The 2nd respondent has also admitted the receipt of the representation of the petitioner and the same is under enquiry. Therefore, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2025 and take appropriate action in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to both the parties within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order.

6. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
