ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's house, bearing Door No.1/579, situated at S.F.No.580/1, Thottappanayakanur Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, based on the application submitted by the petitioner before the second respondent on 29.06.2021, within the time prescribed by this Court.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the request made by the petitioner was rejected and the same was challenged before this Court in W.P.(MD)No.22376 of 2021 and this Writ Petition was disposed of by an order dated 17.12.2021. Pursuant to this order, the electricity service connection was granted in favour of the petitioner on 22.02.2022.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the same is closed. No costs.
