O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 and 2 to provide police protection to petitioner's life and limb and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property in S.No.198 to an extent of 2970 Sq. ft situated at Javathupatty Village, Oddanchatram Taluk. While so, the 3rd respondent has encroached some portion of the property and now the petitioner is doing renovation work and the same was restrained by the 3rd respondent and therefore, he sent a representation to the respondents no.1 and 2 on 16.04.2025 for police protection, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that based on the complaint submitted by the petitioner, they assigned C.S.R.No.36 of 2025 and conducting enquiry. Both parties appeared for enquiry and sought time to furnish documents. Therefore, they will conduct enquiry and dispose of Page No. 2 of 4

the same within fifteen days.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the 3rd respondent inclined to pass orders in this petition.

5. Since the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2025 is under consideration by the 2nd respondent, it is for 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and take appropriate decision in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to both the parties within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order.

6. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
