This petition is filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate protection to the petitioner's life and limb, based on the representation, dated 14.06.2021.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 26.07.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken, in CSR.No.369 of 2021 and the petitioner did not appear before the Enquiry Officer. So, a direction was issued to the petitioner to appear before the Enquiry Officer and co-operate with him to complete the enquiry and the matter was adjourned today.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.399 of 2021 was registered for the punishable offence under Sections 294 (b), 448, 323 & 506 (I) IPC against the fourth respondent and another person.

4.Since the case has been registered against the private respondent, the question of police protection does not arise. It is a case of criminal intimidation and both the parties are neighbours. So, in view of the development, nothing survives for further consideration and direction in this petition. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
