ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Radhapuram, Tirunelveli District to expedite the case in C.C.No. 290 of 2022 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible in so far as the petitioner is concerned, within the time.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the third accused in this case. FIR has been registered in the year 2019 and thereafter, the case is assigned as C.C.No.290 of 2022 after filing Final Report. However, so far, no trial has been commenced. Therefore, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent would submit that the case is filed in the year 2019 and now, posted for appearance of the accused and they will cooperate for the speedy disposal by producing witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.

4. Considering the nature of the offence committed by the petitioner in this petition and the pending FIR has been registered in the year 2019 and also the case is pending without any progress, this Court directs the 2/4

learned Judicial Magistrate, Radhapuram, Tirunelveli to dispose of C.C.No.290 of 2022 as early as possible without giving long adjournments beyond one week.

5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
