For Respondent : Mr.M.Muthumanikkam, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime No.198/2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 379 IPC in Crime No.198 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 08.04.2021, the petitioner along with other persons said to have stolen four goats which belongs to the de-facto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) for the respondent strongly opposed this petition on the ground that six previous cases are pending against the petitioner and the investigation in this case is not completed.

CRL OP(MD). No.9870 of 2021 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that six previous cases are pending against the petitioner and also the fact that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
